Pharmacy

Getting your needed medications is now easier than ever with The Health Center of Southeast Texas. Pharmacy services are available inside our Cleveland clinic location. To use our pharmacy, you must be a current patient of one of our clinic locations. Prescriptions must be written by a provider from any of our locations.
 
We DO accept most insurances, including Medicare. Our pharmacy does NOT accept Medicaid. If uninsured, pricing is determined by grant status (if applicable). Call for details.
 
Pharmacy hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, and Wednesday, 9:00-7:00.
 
We are closed for lunch from 12:30-1:00 every day and are closed on the weekends.

Women's Health Services

The Health Center of Southeast Texas provides quality, low-cost, and accessible women's health services, including breast and cervical cancer screening and diagnostic services.
 
With the support of the Breast and Cervical Cancer Screening Program, and Healthy Texas Women's Program, we are able to provide high-quality care to our female patients. We provide wellness and sick exams with all the appropriate testing and lab work at all locations.
 
The Rose, a very well-recognized Diagnostics Center, comes into our Cleveland location twice a month to provide mammogram screenings to those who qualify. They also accept Medicaid, Medicare, and most private insurance.

Pediatric

At HCSET, we work with our families to keep children healthy. We perform well child exams as well as diagnose and treat common illnesses. Some of our most common services include:

  • Children's Immunizations (Recommended school-aged children and preventative care through the TVFC program or Private Stock).
    • Polio- Commonly recommended for kids between the age of 2 to 18 months and 4 to 6 years before joining school.
    • DTaP- This Diphtheria, Tetanus, and Pertussis vaccination is highly suggested for kids that belong to the age group of 2 to 18 months and 4 to 6 years of age before joining school.
    • MMR- Commonly recommended for kids who belong to the age group of 12 months and 4 to 6 years.
    • Tdap:- Suggested for children aged 10-12 years and every 10th year thereafter.
    • Hepatitis A- for kids at the age of 1- 2 years
    • Flu shots – for kids aged six months and older
    • Hepatitis B – From birth to 18 months
  • Nutrition guidance and assessment
  • Well Child Exams
  • Hearing Screenings
  • Growth and Development Analysis
  • Sports/School Physicals

Laboratory Service

We contract with accredited Laboratory Companies such as Quest Diagnostics and Labcorp to provide the appropriate testing to our patients. We also provide in-house CLIA-waived laboratory testing such as:

  • Hemoglobin A1c
  • Sofia Flu Test A & B
  • HIV and HCV
  • Urinalysis
  • Glucose
  • Strep Test
  • Pulmonary Function Test
  • EKGs
  • Drug Screening

PRICE INCREASE NOTICE

Due to increasing costs out of our control, the Health Center of Southeast Texas will be implementing lab fee increases effective as of July 15th, 2024. On that date, all labs will be charged new prices. These price increases will be in effect for all basic essential labs, moderate essential labs, and non-essential labs. It is the goal of the Health Center of Southeast Texas to continue to provide accessible, compassionate, culturally competent, and quality health care which is affordable for all patients.

Behavioral Health

We have Licensed Professional Counselors and Licensed Clinical Social Workers to assist you in your behavioral health needs. We offer the following types of mental health assistance:

  • Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
  • Dialectical Behavioral Therapy
  • Play Therapy
  • Client-Centered Counseling
  • Psychiatry

COVID VACCINE

Beginning, Monday, April 17th the available COVID vaccines will be as follows:

  • Pfizer Ages 12 and up (Primary Series)
  • Moderna Bivalent ages 12 and up (Booster)

Medicaid & Marketplace Assistance

At HCSET, we aim to be your #1 resource for information on state and federal healthcare programs. Each of our locations has a Certified Assistant Counselor to help you navigate through Medicaid, Marketplace, and other assistance programs.
 
Our CAC Services include assistance with enrolling or renewing:

  • Your insurance – including Medicaid or Marketplace
  • CHIP (Children’s Health Insurance Program)
  • SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program)
  • TANF (Temporary Assistance for Needy Families)
  • SDOH Program (Social Determinates of Health)
